As many of you have probably read via facebook our dear little Henry is hospitalized right now. He was running a fever on Sunday and so my sister promptly followed the order we have been given with all our newborns, yet never had to heed: Take them in at any sign of fever. They’re serious about that stuff, you know.
So, Hank got poked, and probed, and prodded and is currently on IV antibiotics as a precaution. They are awaiting some more test results, but the scariest stuff has now been ruled out and it’s likely that they will leave the hospital not ever knowing what caused this episode, probably just a rogue virus. He should be able to leave the hospital this evening. In the mean time, here are some pictures of the sweet boy from our visit last week.
